Pink Picks | Favourites

 Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
I picked this cleansing water up last week after hearing amazing things! I haven't been using it for long but it does an amazing job at cleansing my skin and removing all makeup. It's also very gentle on the eyes and doesn't sting!

Mac Lipstick - Girl About Town
My go-to bright pink lipstick, perfect for nights out!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - Antwerp
I love this lip cream. It's long lasting, highly pigmented and is a gorgeous shade.
Beauty Blender Sponge Dupe
I ordered this from eBay about a year ago and they really do give your foundation a flawless finish! I picked this up for £1!

Real Techniques Stippling Brush
I used to love this brush last year for applying my foundation. I don't use it as much now but I love it for a light coverage foundation.

Real Techniques Setting Brush
My favourite brush for setting the under eye area with powder.

Bobbi Brown Blush - Peony
A gorgeous barbie pink shade that is still very wearable.

Victoria's Secret Body Mist - Mango Temptation
I love all the VS body mists, but this scent is in my top 3. Its very strong, so a little goes a long way, but it smells amazing.

Baby Lips - Pink Punch
A tinted pink lipbalm that smells amazing and adds a gorgeous hint of pink to the lips.

Essie Polish - We're In It Together
The perfect baby pink shade with tiny glitter specks of purple/blue which shine when they hit the light.

Barry M - Pink Flamingo
My favourite medium pink polish with a semi-matte finish.

Benefit Watt's Up! Highlighter | Review, Photo's, Swatches

I love Benefit products, and their Watts Up highlighter is one of my favourites.

'soft focus highlighter for face'

This highlighter is a pricey one, at £24.50. But it will last you a long time, the unique packaging and the creamy texture make this product worth the price. Its a beautiful champagne with golden specks of shimmer.

I love this product in summer. A good things about this highlighter is that its a cream - to - powder product. It applies very creamy and smooth, then once blended, dries to a powder. I apply this product to the tops of my cheekbones, the center of my forehead and down my nose for a sunkissed golden glow. It gives a gorgeous, natural, healthy look to the skin without looking sparkly or sweaty.

I love the packaging too. Its something different. Its bright, stands out, and in my eyes, Benefit never do wrong with their packaging! It comes with a sponge applicator, but i never find myself using it. Its small, and doesnt seem like it would blend the product out amazingly.

Although i love this highlighter, i have found a few negatives. The first one, is that sometimes i find this highlighter very hard to blend! I have to really buff and blend this product out well, otherwise it looks streaky and very un-natural.
Another, is that when applied over foundation, i find it can turn slightly cakey, and moves the foundation underneath (especially on my cheekbones).

Even with the negatives, i still love this product, and really is one of my favourite highlighters.
I would definetly re-purchase one day when i run out!

Have you tried this higlighter?

Makeup Revolution Haul & Review | Swatches Photos

I've been hearing nothing but good reviews on this brand, and finally got myself online and ordered a few little bits.

I picked up four Pure Pigments in the shades
Dynamic, Allure, Virtuous, Supreme.
£1 each
1.5g
http://www.makeuprevolutionstore.com/index.php/eyes/eye-dust/eye-dust.html

Virtuous and Allure are both gorgeous shades, but shades i wouldn't really reach for. They are a lot more purple, than on the website swatches.

Dynamic is a gorgeous bronze shade with flecks of shimmering gold and rose gold running through.

Supreme is a glittery vanilla/champagne shade and would look amazing as an intense all over lid colour.

Overall, i am really happy with these pigments. At a crazy affordable price of £1 per pigment, these really are amazing quality. They also have a great colour range, from neutral shades to brights.

I also picked up an Ultra Blush Palette in
Hot Spice.
£6

I love the packaging - sleek, compact, black and gold. It also comes with a huge mirror, which is always a bonus.
 The palette contains 8 shades.
3 matte, 3 shimmer, a highlighting shade and a baked blush.
There is definitely a blush for everyone in here. They are all amazingly pigmented, apply smoothly to the skin and have a velvet, buttery texture. They are also super long lasting on the cheeks.

For £6, i cant really complain, although on the website, the palette did look a lot more neutral, and less pink. It is also stated as a Blush and Contour palette, you can definitely not contour with this!

However i do still really love this palette, the shades are gorgeous and i love the higlighter in there!

Makeup Revolution is a success in my eyes!
Is Makeup Revolution worth the hype?! YES.
