My Top 3 Mac Blushes

When it comes to blushes, Mac is my favourite brand. They never fail with their shades, pigmentation and packaging.
Here are my top 3.

Peachykeen, Melba, Desert Rose
Mac 150 Large Powder Brush

Peachykeen - Sheertone Shimmer Blush - A pink shade with a hint of peach, with gold glitter specks that just gives a healthy glow to the cheeks

Melba - Matte Powder Blush - A peachy matte shade that goes with any makeup look, looks very natural when used with a light hand, and is super blendable even though its very matte

Desert Rose - Matte Powder Blush - A medium pink shade with mauve/brown undertones, one of my favourites for the colder months

Makeup Revolution Haul & Review | Swatches Photos

I've been hearing nothing but good reviews on this brand, and finally got myself online and ordered a few little bits.

I picked up four Pure Pigments in the shades
Dynamic, Allure, Virtuous, Supreme.
£1 each
1.5g
http://www.makeuprevolutionstore.com/index.php/eyes/eye-dust/eye-dust.html

Virtuous and Allure are both gorgeous shades, but shades i wouldn't really reach for. They are a lot more purple, than on the website swatches.

Dynamic is a gorgeous bronze shade with flecks of shimmering gold and rose gold running through.

Supreme is a glittery vanilla/champagne shade and would look amazing as an intense all over lid colour.

Overall, i am really happy with these pigments. At a crazy affordable price of £1 per pigment, these really are amazing quality. They also have a great colour range, from neutral shades to brights.

I also picked up an Ultra Blush Palette in
Hot Spice.
£6

I love the packaging - sleek, compact, black and gold. It also comes with a huge mirror, which is always a bonus.
 The palette contains 8 shades.
3 matte, 3 shimmer, a highlighting shade and a baked blush.
There is definitely a blush for everyone in here. They are all amazingly pigmented, apply smoothly to the skin and have a velvet, buttery texture. They are also super long lasting on the cheeks.

For £6, i cant really complain, although on the website, the palette did look a lot more neutral, and less pink. It is also stated as a Blush and Contour palette, you can definitely not contour with this!

However i do still really love this palette, the shades are gorgeous and i love the higlighter in there!

Makeup Revolution is a success in my eyes!
Is Makeup Revolution worth the hype?! YES.

Have you tried any Makeup Revolution products?

My Top 3 Soap and Glory Products

Not only is their packaging super cute and eye-catching, the products are amazing too. Here are my top 3 Soap and Glory products.

Sugar Crush Body Wash, Smoothie Star Body Milk, Sugar Crush Body Scrub

Sugar Crush Body Wash - £6.50
An amazing, sweet lime smelling body wash that leaves the body feeling fresh, clean and awake. Comes with a pump so very easy to use in the shower. An easy citrus-y scent to wake you up in the mornings!

Smoothie Star Body Milk - £10
One of my favourite body moisturizers ever with a warm, delicious scent of almonds, cocoa, oats and brown sugar scent. This product really does keep my skin moisturized and silky smooth.

Sugar Crush Body Scrub - £8.00
This thick, cake-mix smelling, refreshing scrub smells soo yummy, i could actually eat it! It really exfoliates my skin and leaves me feeling really smooth. A little of this product goes along way, and you get a lot of product for the price.

Favourite High-End Highlighters

Highlighting is probably my favourite part of my makeup routine. I absolutely love what it does to the face. It can turn your skin from looking flat, matte, dry and all one colour, to a dewy, healthy looking, radiant skin. Here are my high-end faves.

Mac Soft and Gentle
A shimmery, champagne shade with flecks of gold running through, amazing pigmentation - you really dont need a lot of this at all - meaning this product will last you a VERY long time

Benefit Watts Up
A golden, champagne almost peachy shade, with tiny shimmers, can be used heavily, or lightly to create a subtle glow to the face, easy to apply in stick form, just blend out with a brush

Mac Gold Deposit
Suited for more darker skin tones as it is a bronze shade with gold glitter, quite golden orangey, and can be quite scary looking in the pan, but once blended out, gives the most gorgeous golden sheen to the face

Mac Lustre Drops - Sun Rush
A subtle, easy to use, liquid highlighter that blends in seamlessly to give a flushed, radiant, sunkissed look and looks amazing on most skin tones

Benefit High Beam
This highlighter is more pink toned, and i must say i do prefer golden shades on me, but this product is easy to work with and gives a gorgeous sheen to the cheekbones without looking fake

Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette
A silky, smooth, easy to apply, highlighter, thats in sleek compact packaging, making it easy to travel with

Mac Eyeshadow - Nylon
This shadow is a frost finish, and if used with a light hand, can make the most gorgeous highlighting shade, its a lovely golden yellow shade, and looks amazing on the eyes too

Must Have Face Brushes - Real Techniques

5th July - I am currently on my way to the airport, im going on holiday to Spain for a week but have scheduled some posts for when i am away
Follow me on instagram here and twitter here for updates and photos x
- i have also this morning hit 200 followers on bloglovin' YAYAYAYAY
 :)

Being a complete makeup junkie means i need tools - makeup brushes. Over the past few years i have collected far more brushes than i will ever need. My collection is huge, but i always find myself reaching for the same brushes all the time.
Wheater you are a beginner to makeup, or know the ins and outs of makeup, here are the face brushes i reach for daily, and would 100% recommend for anyone.

Real Techniques

FOUNDATION

I recommend: The Buffing Brush - This brush gives a flawless finish to the face and works with every kind of foundation i have tried. 100% gives you an airbrushes look and never leaves you with streaky foundation.

CONCEALER

I recommend: The Pointed Foundation Brush - Slightly too small for foundation i'd say. Perfect size for concealer under the eyes or around the face. Can leave your makeup streaky if not used properly, but is great for packing in concealer under the eyes without looking cakey.

I ALSO Recommend: The Deluxe Crease Brush - Buffs/blends in concealer seemlessly. Doesnt ever leave streaks and this brush can give you a full coverage look if you need it. Super soft and easy to use.

POWDER

I recommend: The Powder Brush - This brush is large, but still soft and fluffy. Perfect for all over face powder or even bronzer if you prefer a larger brush. Sets my foundation perfectly.

SETTING POWDER
 (UNDER EYES)

I recommend: The Setting Brush - Small, easy to use, and perfect for setting under eye concealer due to its shape. So soft and packs powder evenly without getting cakey.

BRONZER/BLUSH

I recommend: The Blush Brush - Also great for powder but i prefer it for bronzer. Easy for blending out bronzer/blush too, and also doesnt pick up too much product.

CONTOUR

I recommend: The Contour Brush - I rarely contour, but when i do, im always reaching for this brush. Its great for precise contour as its small enough to fit into the cheekbones.
